I spend much of my time drawing with brushes, acrylic paints, and some oils. Lately, on my canvases, I strive to capture the caricatured side of everyday life—the vividly colorful ways all bodies, characters in contrasting situations, and objects are shaped.

Through painting, I aim to illustrate some of my ideas as they interact with each other—sometimes in a deeply personal, even autobiographical way. You can also find subtle nods to my favorite painters or to art history. For me, the only true obligation of painting is to speak for itself.
